Grouting Systems

The machine is designed to fill cracks and cavities in rock faces with cement-based mixtures, in order to stabilize and seal the rock face from water intrusion. It utilizes four grout pumps, which are connected to two individual computerized process lines. The process lines consist of dry storage silos, chemical pumps, cement mixers and agitators for intermediate storage. A special made computerized logging system keeps track of all necessary parameters such as cement recipes, amounts, pressures etc. in order to meet the demands of increasingly strict modern-day standards.

The grouting unit features a compact container-based design which allows it to be easily transported by a special made truck equipped with container locks. The unit is equipped with support legs which ensure quick and efficient loading and unloading to the transportation vehicle, in addition to providing a safe, stable and leveled working environment. It is also fitted with a crane and working basket, which allows the operators of the grouting unit to place and remove packers and grouting rods in the rock face in a safe and efficient manner. The unit is fully electric, and a hydraulically driven cable reel allows it to connect to 1000V or 400V power grids.
